One in a Chameleon

I created this vibrant chameleon mural as a special project for my roommate's 5th grade special education classroom at Central A&M.

The piece features 15 unique chameleons—one for each student—with distinct personalities, expressions, and poses that allow the children to see themselves reflected in the artwork. This was my first attempt at large-scale mural painting, and I wanted to create something meaningful that would brighten their learning environment year-round. Each chameleon includes thoughtful details like glasses, headphones, crutches, and school spirit elements such as a Central A&M flag, ensuring every student could find a connection to the characters.

My goal was to create a piece where students would discover something new each time they passed by, fostering a sense of belonging and representation in their daily school experience
